One of three plates in a set, all of which are uniquely decorated with blue enamel over-the-glazed, which is rare and very unique. It's not cobalt blue under-the-glaze as it first appears.
Like the other plate in this set, especially the "Waterfall Sightseeing" plate, the main layout decoration of this plate was inspired by and adopted from woodblock print by Hiroshige 36 Stations
of the Kisokaido Road, No. 32 Seba., with some elements of the foreground and background changed. Signed with a studio hall mark, but the signature is un-deciphered.
